How I choose
It's not about more tools, it's about less friction between me and shipping. Every tool that stayed passed one question: did it help me ship faster?
💡 Principle: embrace boring tech, save the novelty for the product itself.
Building
I keep the code-to-deploy path short: write locally, push to Git, auto-build and ship. My editor is a paid editor subscription ↗affiliate link — the time saved far outweighs the cost.
Ops & metrics
Public metrics (MRR, traffic) live on a lightweight dashboard that forces me to face real numbers.
Lessons this year
- Ship first, optimize later
- Automate anything you do a third time
- Tools are the means; shipping is the point
